The Fanatec GT2 European Series Powered by Pirelli will enjoy an expanded broadcast package for its upcoming round at Spa-Francorchamps, with commentary from the 27-29 June event available in four different languages.
For the first time in series history, qualifying and both 50-minute races will be streamed live in English, French, German and Italian. This follows a successful start to the 2024 season, which has seen more than 165,000 unique viewers tune into live coverage of the opening rounds at Circuit Paul Ricard and Misano.
In addition to these rising viewing figures, the series has also enjoyed its strongest grid numbers to date, benefitting from its place alongside Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS at all six meetings. New fans can also catch up on past events, with highlights from every race available through YouTube and the series’ social media channels.
The upcoming trip to Spa-Francorchamps will provide another unique experience for Fanatec GT2 competitors and fans alike as the series supports the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa at its centenary edition.
As well as sharing the bill with this prestigious event, the Fanatec GT2 field will join the traditional parade on Wednesday afternoon, giving fans an opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of the cars as they make their way to the city centre.
Track activity will begin on Thursday, while live coverage kicks off on Friday with qualifying (10:15) and the opening race (14:45). The second contest will follow on Saturday at 09:20, just hours before the centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa gets underway. The live action can be watched in four languages on the GT World YouTube channel.
