Launched in 2015, the “GT Sports Club” is SRO’s European Series exclusively reserved for Gentlemen drivers, categorized Bronze by the FIA. Suspended in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the “GT Sports Club” is relaunched under the Fanatec GT2 European Series

  • Race format - Free practice : 2 X 60 minutes Qualifying session : 2 X 20 minutes Race : 2 X 50 minutes
  • Two categories; two podiums; two classifications, Pro-am and Am
  • “Pro” and “Am” drivers aged 40 and over are eligible for the Series
  • Drivers aged between 30 and 39 are only eligible in partnership with “Am” drivers aged 60 and over
  • “Pro” drivers are limited to drivers graded FIA Silver
  • FIA graded Bronze drivers who have been categorised Platinum, Gold or Silver in the past are considered “Pro” until aged 69, unless they have a record of competing at Bronze level in SRO series for over 5 years
  • “Am” drivers are those graded FIA Bronze and who had their first racing license after the age of 30
  • Only ‘‘Am” drivers can drive alone
  • Success pit stop time penalties applicable at the next race for cars finishing on the podium
  • Regulated pit stops with minimum time between pit in and pit out and no tyre changes during the races (except for weather changes)
  • Two sets of Pirelli tyres for qualifying and the races. One new set for FP and one set carry over
  • No limitations on private testing
  • SRO hospitality with VIP catering service for lunch included in the entry fee for driver and one guest
  • Possibility to miss an event without impacting the chances to do well in the Championship, only the results of the best five events will be taken into account in the season's point scoring.
