Austin, TX - James Sofronas had the fastest overall and Titanium class practice time in GT Sports Club series action Friday morning at Circuit of the Americas (COTA). Jason Daskalos topped the GT3 category, while Ryan Gates was the fastest GT2 competitor in the session.
The 30-minute session saw Titanium class competitor Sofronas, an SRO Motorsports America veteran with over 200 series starts post the fastest time of the session in the #14 GMG Racing Audi R8 LMS Ultra (2:09.433). Jason Daskalos in the #27 Daskalos Motorsports Audi R8 LMS Ultra had the second fastest overall time and best in the GT3 category (2:12.322). 311RS Motorsport's Ryan Gates had the best time in the GT2 category (2:13.588)
