Ebimotors is the latest team to join the Fanatec GT2 European Series as the championship approaches its second season of competition. The top Italian Porsche Motorsport team has confirmed its first Am class entry for the #7 Porsche GT2 RS at Imola.
That seat will be taken by Ebimotors’ Gianluca Giorgi, who will make his GT2 European Series debut on home ground. Racing with the team since 2020, the Italian driver has already produced promising results in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy.
With Ebimotors supporting Giorgi's step up to endurance GT competition last year, an outing in the 24H GT Series also earned an impressive fourth and sixth-place finishes at Mugello.
Now retaining Giorgi for a third season, Ebimotors will ensure his smooth and successful transition to GT2 competition at Imola next month.
