PK Carsport topped the first practice session of the 2022 Fanatec GT2 European Series season in the Pro-Am class, while fellow Audi runner LP Racing led the Am entrants with its R8 LMS GT2.
The #81 PK Carsport machine shared by Bert Longin and Peter Guelinckx posted a 1m44.882s lap to establish itself at the top of both its class and the overall timesheets. LP Racing duo Michael Doppelmayr and Elia Erhart were 0.235s adrift, enough to ensure that they were the quickest Am entrant. Longin and Doppelmayr recorded the best times for PK Carsport and LP Racing respectively.
True Racing was second in Pro-Am with its #16 KTM of Sarmini/Rosina, followed by the #88 LP Racing Audi of Negro/Pirri. The LP squad also finished second quickest in Am thanks to the #67 Audi driven by Henry Hassid, followed by the #7 Ebi Motors Porsche of Gianluca Giorgi.
