New KTM X-BOW GT2 EVO to hit the circuits in late 2024

Fanatec GT2 European Series Powered by Pirelli frontrunner KTM will strengthen its assault on global sports car competition with the launch of the X-BOW GT2 EVO.

The Austrian marque unveiled a prototype of the striking new machine in June, during the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, with the finished product set to become available to customers in the final quarter of 2024.

It represents a significant development on the proven X-BOW GT2, which currently leads the Fanatec GT2 Europe Pro-Am standings with Team MZR and clinched last year’s Am class title thanks to Jan Krabec (RTR Projects). Improved aero and a power increase are among several key upgrades set to feature on the EVO, which will be homologated globally for all SRO GT2 series.

"The KTM X-BOW GT2 is already one of the most successful machines in the up-and-coming Fanatec GT2 European Series Powered by Pirelli,” said Laura Kraihamer, head of motorsport operations at KTM Sportcar GmbH. “Championship titles and runners-up trophies, as well as numerous overall and class victories, are a testament to that.

“We cannot wait to get the newest version of the KTM X-BOW GT2, which features even more performance and downforce, on to the race track,” Kraihamer continued. “We firmly believe that the KTM X-BOW GT2 EVO will be even more competitive than its predecessor and will write the next chapter in the car’s success story.”

KTM will continue extensive endurance tests during the second half of the year before the X-BOW GT2 EVO becomes available for purchase in late 2024.
