GT2 European Series confirms CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa return as part of final 2025 calendar

The GT2 European Series Powered by Pirelli will once again support the prestigious CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa next year following final confirmation of its six-round 2025 schedule.

The series enjoyed a landmark moment in its still-young history when it joined the iconic event at Spa-Francorchamps this June, competing in front of a phenomenal crowd of almost 100,000 spectators as the biggest GT race in the world marked its centenary.

Confirmation of a return to the showpiece round means the final calendar for next season’s GT2 European Series campaign once again shares all six of its meetings with GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS, maintaining an arrangement that began this year.

In another change for next year, each race will now have an extended running time of 60 minutes, ensuring an additional 20 minutes of racing at each meeting.

The series will again commence at Circuit Paul Ricard (11-13 April), which retains its status as an ever-present on the calendar. The action then shifts to a new venue, with Zandvoort playing host a little over a month later (16-18 May), while the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa will be staged across 26-29 June.

A return to Misano follows on 18-20 July, marking a fourth trip to the Italian venue in five years, after which two visits to Spain conclude the campaign. Valencia makes a welcome return to the calendar on 19-21 September, having last hosted in 2023.

Finally, for the second consecutive year, the season will finish at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 10-12 October. The 2024 champions will be crowned at the same venue this weekend, with a pair of hour-long races running alongside GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS.
