Martin Lanting, also known as Martino Rosso Racing, is passionate about Ferrari and has been racing in various competitions, always as a Gentleman driver.
Martin Lanting : “If you start your racing experience at the age of 50 you want to be active in competitions for Gentlemen drivers, which has always been difficult to find. I welcome SRO’s initiative and look forward to the first event in Barcelona on 17-19 April.”
Patrick van Glabeke, organizer of the successful Curbstone Test and Track events, loves fast cars, but prefer to drive them on a racetrack rather than taking risks on the public roads.
Patrick van Glabeke : “After many track days I wanted to know how it feels to be racing in competitions. Real Gentlemen racing opportunities are very limited. I am therefore very happy with the new GT Sports Club formula and look forward meeting the other drivers and share our passion for motorsport”.
Louis-Philippe Soenen likes to drive a car whenever he can. Although being inexperienced in racing events he has a lot of track time and knows how to control the car. He is excited about the idea of Gentlemen racing and cannot wait to see the red lights go out.
Lanting, Van Glabeke and Soenen will also start in two rounds of the Blancpain Endurance Series: the 1000km of Paul Ricard in June and the Total 24 Hours of Spa in July. They will be sharing a Ferrari 458 GT3 operated by AF Corse and hope to make a good appearance in the Am Trophy.
