Schnitzelalm sets the early practice pace at Misano

+ Result: Free Practice, Misano

Jay Mo Härtling and David Thilenius emerged on top of a disrupted opening practice session at Misano in the #111 SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm Mercedes-AMG.

The Pro-Am points leaders wasted little in laying down a marker with Härtling leading the initial times before Antoine Potty improved aboard the i4Race Maserati. However, Härtling wasn’t done and fought back to set a session best 1:35.8s lap to shave 0.1s off Potty’s best.

Any chance for the Belgian to fight back was denied when the red flags flew inside the final minutes to recover a car that had stopped out on track. Potty did at least set the top Silver class time. Roberto Pampanini and Mauro Calamia were third in the returning DINAMIC Motorsport Maserati, which now wears a plain carbon livery, ahead of the sister Schnitzelalm Mercedes-AMG in the hands of Moritz Wiskirchen and Wilhelm Kühne.

Marius Aigner and Reinhard Kofler were fifth in the MZR KTM ahead of Ethan Gialdini and Millen Njor’s CMR Ginetta.

Viktor Mraz and Davit Kajaia led the way in Masters. Their RTR Projects KTM emerged fastest from the LP Racing Maseratis of Philippe Prette and Celia Martin/Luca Pirri.

Free Practice 2 is set for 18:55.
