The final two GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli races of the season will now both take place on the last day of the campaign after a timetable shift for the event in Portugal.
There has been a revised schedule for the season-closing event at the Autodromo do Algarve across October 16-18 to allow the headline GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup race to shift forward to the Saturday evening. This has been done to ease a clash with the revised FIA World Endurance Championship calendar, which will now hold a race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on the same weekend.
The penultimate GT2 European Series contest of the season had originally been set for Saturday afternoon, but will now shift back to Sunday morning, with the final race following later that afternoon in what promises to be a Sunday showdown for the series honours.
The Paid Test remains on Thursday with Friday hosting Free Practice before FP2 and Qualifying take place on Saturday, October 17.
