SP Racing and Dinamic Motorsport will join forces to field a three-car entry involving two different brands in this year’s GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli.
The two teams will merge to operate both a Maserati GT2 and a pair of Porsche 992 GT3 Cup cars. The Maserati will boast the familiar crew of Roberto Pampanini and Mauro Calamia, while SP Racing will operate the twin Porsches, one for the already confirmed Iron Dames pairing of Sarah Bovy and Laura van den Hengel, plus a second car for selected events driven by Stefano Zerbi and Eugenio Pisani.
All three cars will compete in the Pro-Am category, with Zerbi and Pisani’s Porsche so far confirmed to join the grid at Monza, Misano and Zandvoort.
Pampanini and Calamia return for a third consecutive GT2 Europe campaign, having been race winners in each of their past two seasons with Dinamic. They finished third in the Pro-Am points last year with two race wins, helping Dinamic to second place in the Teams’ standings.
Bovy and van den Hengel will form the series’ first all-female entry aboard the Iron Dames Porsche, while both Zerbi and Pisani make their GT2 Europe debuts after stepping up from the GT Cup Europe. Both drivers have extensive GT racing experience from competing in categories such as Italian GT, Lotus Cup Italy. Pisani has also competed in the Porsche Cup Italy and Porsche Supercup.

Eugenio Pisani says: “Stefano and I are really happy to live this experience in such an important championship with the SRO organisation.”
Stefania Siliprandi, SP Racing Team Manager, says: “We are very excited to compete in a championship such as the GT2 European Series, and we can’t wait for the season to begin. We are also pleased to share the tent with a team like Dinamic Motorsport, especially after beginning our collaboration this year through SP Racing. Having Sarah Bovy and Laura van den Hengel driving one of our cars is a great honour and will surely help us gain valuable experience.”
The GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli season begins at Monza in Italy across the weekend of May 29-31.
